The one who stops for a call in the canopy.
Ganesh found his stillness in birds. Standing still long enough for a forest to forget you are there is, he will tell you, a kind of meditation that needs no instructions.
He leads our birding mornings at Kalika, Kasar Devi and Sattal, and is the one who will stop the whole group, mid-sentence, for a call in the canopy.
He is also the one building this website, which is why the birds on it get so much space.
